Microsoft has identified a condition where Free/Busy lookups from On-Premises to O365 in a hybrid configuration may fail.
After you install Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Cumulative Update 8 (CU8), free/busy queries from Microsoft Office 365 users to on-premises mailboxes in hybrid environments fail if the cloud mailboxes are not archive-enabled.
This problem occurs because of a known issue that affects OAuth connectivity in Exchange Sever 2016 CU8.
To work around this issue, create personal archive mailboxes for each cloud mailbox.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Cumulative Update 9 (CU9). For a supported fix for CU8, contact Microsoft Support.
A year ago Microsoft launched the App Outlook for iOS and Android, which is a very user friendly app.. This app does a phenomenal job on iOS (I’ve not used it on Android) in terms of composing email, send/receive emails and pretty what you need to stay connected. It has swipe feature , you can swipe RIGHT or LEFT to take actions like archive, delete, move, flag, mark as read/unread or schedule. Unlike other email apps, Outlook lets you personalize these swipe gestures to match your unique email habits. It is simple and amazing 🙂 with a – BUT ONLY FEATURE WITH SWIPE (wish they gave drop down menu for swipe), so if you swipe to left it will Archive (enabled by default) and if you swipe right then it will Schedule (enabled by default) it for you.

Add 3rd Party Calendar Apps but still lacking to add someone else calendar in your Exchange / O365 Organization
Here you can add 3rd party calendar apps such as Facebook Events etc. I’m surprised here that why Microsoft Office 365 Team was in a rush to put these social media event/calendar App instead of adding the feature to add multiple Exchange calendar which more productive for any type of business.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/owa-for-iphone/id659503543?mt=8 (I believe this App is still on AWS and stores your password – If you are security freak like me then I’d not recommend, atlas not for you corporate email account)
In this post you will find how to install add-ins for Outlook and other Office Apps (word). I found these app very useful specially for meeting or enabling the #google #search right into my #msword application.
1- login to your O365 account, then click on SETTINGS, Manage Add-ins
2- Click Add using the + sign – Add from store, it will take you to the store
3- In my case I’ve selected #Uber
4-Once installed it will show the message like this
5- Press Ok and come back to the add-ins menu, Uber app is listed here. It also shows that it was installed by me and it is turned on.
6- Now in order to use this Add-ins or App we need to setup a test meeting.
7- Now your #Uber Add-in is installed. based on the event time it show different message and also offer you a free ride if it is your first time.
So start using your Add-ins feature , there are tons of other application. If you like my post please share it.
